Full List of Original Xbox Games Available Through Backwards Compatibility on Xbox One

Microsoft came through on their promise of adding titles from the original Xbox to the list of backwards compatible games for the Xbox One. The company first announced their plans earlier this year at E3. Over the weekend a list was leaked that detailed the first batch of games that will be available on backwards compatibility. The games on this list have been confirmed and players can now purchase these games in the Xbox Store.

• Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Fans of the Star Wars franchise will be delighted to see one Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on this list. Originally released on the first Xbox console in 2003, this Star Wars title is noted for its engaging plot and characters and received critical acclaim among game reviews.

Xbox has capitalized on the success of their backwards compatible games since the feature first launched for the Xbox One in 2015. The list of Xbox 360 games available to play on the Xbox One consists of over 300 games, and that number continues to grow each month.

Hopefully more games from the original Xbox make their way to the Xbox One. You can play the games on this list by either purchasing them through the Xbox Store or by simply popping the original disc into your Xbox One.
