New Middle of Earth: Shadow of War Trailer Reveals Shelob, but Not as You Know Her

A new Middle Earth: Shadow of War trailer has been dropped at Comic-Con, revealing Shelob as an important character.

Fans of the Lord of the Rings will recognise Shelob as the giant spider whose lair Golem leads Sam and Frodo into. In Shadow of War, though, she takes on a human appearance. You can watch the trailer below.

If the clip is anything to go by, it looks like the character could play an important part in Shadow of War. Whether or not she can be trusted – a notion Celebrimbor alludes to – is a different story.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War will follow on from Shadow of Mordor, as players take control of Talion in his and Celebrimbor’s mission to defeat Sauron. The Nemesis system is greatly expanded upon in comparison to its predecessor, as players can now build up armies of allies to help them take on and give information about enemies. This means no two games will be the same.

Middle Earth: Shadow of War releases on 10^th October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
