The Inpatient is Another Terrifying Until Dawn Spinoff

A prequel to Until Dawn, The Inpatient, will be the second VR spinoff to the popular horror game.

Developed by Supermassive Games, The Inpatient will take players back 60 years before the events that led to Until Dawn, back to the Blackwood Sanitorium.

The first Until Dawn spinoff, Rush of Blood, was an all-out rollercoaster of a VR experience. The Inpatient looks very different, though: it seems more like stealth-horror – Outlast in VR. And that sounds terrifying. You can watch the trailer below.

If their previous two games are anything to go by, The Inpatient could be yet another reason to pick up a PlayStation VR headset.

The Inpatient is due to release later this year.
